SK Telecom Ventures (SKTVC), established in 2008, is the dedicated venture capital arm of SK Telecom, South Korea’s largest telecommunications company. Based in Santa Clara, California, SKTVC focuses on strategic investments in early to mid-stage companies across sectors such as mobile platforms and infrastructure, semiconductors, and enterprise solutions, including computing, storage, and networking.

In August 2023, SKTVC invested an additional USD 100 million in Anthropic, an AI safety and research company based in San Francisco, following a previous investment. This investment is part of SKT’s broader strategy to promote AI innovation and secure a competitive edge in the telecommunications industry.
