Techstars Payments, powered by Stellar and MoneyGram, is a specialized accelerator program focusing on innovative fintech solutions that address gaps in payments infrastructure, particularly in emerging and underserved markets. The program offers a hybrid format, with sessions held in Dallas, Mexico City, and Miami, and culminates in a Demo Day where startups present their progress to investors and industry leaders.

In 2024, the accelerator selected 12 companies for its cohort, each working on fintech innovations in areas such as lending, investing, payments, personal financial management, financial literacy, and infrastructure. This initiative represents Techstars’ first accelerator with a physical presence in Latin America, underscoring its commitment to fostering fintech innovation in the region.
