Matchstick Ventures is an early-stage venture capital firm based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Boulder, Colorado, focusing on pre-seed and seed-stage technology startups connected to the North and Rockies regions of the United States. The firm has invested in over 100 companies since its inception in 2015, supporting diverse founders and fostering innovation in these underserved startup ecosystems.

In September 2021, Matchstick Ventures closed its third fund, raising $55 million to continue its mission of investing in software-centric companies with ties to the Rockies and North regions. This fund allows Matchstick to write checks between $500,000 and $1.5 million, both leading rounds and partnering with other investors.
